A residential swimming pool is a great addition to any home, as it provides a place for the homeowner to relax and have fun at the same time. However, pools do require regular maintenance, just like any other part of the home. The one thing that is different is that pool maintenance is required one of more times per week, depending upon the use the pool gets.
Often homeowners will try to do this maintenance themselves, but find it difficult to do because of a lack of time, due to family and work commitments. Once the details of the maintenance contract are finalized, the pool maintenance company will put the pool on their schedule and assign a highly trained technician to service the pool. Often the same technician will work on the pool for the duration of the pool maintenance agreement. On the scheduled days, the technician will come the home and clean and vacuum the pool.
In addition, they will check the “chemistry” of the pool and make adjustments as necessary in order to keep the chemicals in the proper range. In addition, they will be looking for any issues with any of the equipment or anything else that may impact the operation of the pool and take the appropriate action. The technician will note on a report, what was done to the pool during the visit and leave a copy for the homeowner.
